This set of pictures comes from our trip to Springfield Illinois. Yey!
At the time I wasn't taking photography seriously. I brough the camera I had at the time but didn't bother to take it out. However, this changed as we were getting closer to the capitol building.
While the world was in a lockdown, we decided to take a multi-state road trip. (That's how we roll) We drove from Los Angeles, CA to Grand Junction, CO. I hadn't driven that much in my life before. I was a bit apprehensive because of anything that could go wrong during the trip. Fortunately, everything went fine without any issues or surprises.I was a bit too worried about the driving part of the road trip that I forgot to take some time to take more pictures. Luckily I did take the camera our when we visited the Colorado National Monument.We started this hike very early. If I remember correctly, we got to the trail head at around 7:00 am. I'm glad we did. By the end of the hike it was super hot. And it was only 10:00 am.
