I have to start by saying I lost footage of this particular trip. In total 2 days worth of footage was lost. This included the trip to the J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge in Sanibel Island. I was so angry when it happened. But that's in the past.
Now back to the pictures I was able to keep. The pictures from the alligator and the white ibises were taken in the back of the condo complex. The set of pictures with the pier and the buildings at the water front were taken while we were on "pirate" cruise. And the pictures of the Egret were taken at the Everglades National Park.
Just in case you were wondering, yes, I did see lots and lots of alligators, however, for one reason or another I couldn't get a shot of one. Now that I think about it, there may have been some shot of alligators in the footage that was lost.
These pictures are from our trip to Oregon state to visit some friends. Even when I didn't take a lot of shots, I was pretty happy with the ones I got and the trip overall.
It was a redo a failed trip to the Pacific Northwest a couple of friends and me did back in 2005.
This time around, everything went smoothly and we didn't get kick out of the hotel. And I got to visit beautiful landmarks. Additionally, we hiked a bit of PCT, specifically that part where it goes from Oregon to Washington. To top things off, we got to see a bald eagle fly across the river while we were crossing the Bridge of the Gods.
Amazing adventure.
The pictures are from The Silver Falls State Park, Otter Crest Beach, and the last one is from the Columbia River Gorge.
We took the fairy to Channel Islands National Park. More specifically, to Santa Cruz Island. There we decided to hike to Potato Harbor Vista Point. We weren't disappointed. A highlight of this trip was that on the way to the island we ran into a bunch of whales. The captain decided to follow them for a bit and we got to see a very impressive show.
A day before visiting the Channel Islands National Park we drove into Ventura, CA. We got there a bit late and didn't have much of a chance to see much more than the mission. Got some cool pictures of it. Also, the last picture of this set was taken before we got onto the boat that took us to the National Park.
